The Else Kröner-Fresenius Foundation is funding research into the energy metabolism of immune cells at Magdeburg University Hospital with 410,000 euros.

Research instead of retirement: Prof. Dr. med. Thomas Fischer will take up the first senior professorship at the Medical Faculty of Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg for the next three years.
