Clinically and scientifically, we work closely with our partners from the departments of neurosurgery and neurology (e.g. functional network analysis - resting state MRI, black blood imaging in patients with small vessel diseases), as well as with the non-university institutes on campus (e.g. DZNE as clinical partner of various studies).

In addition, we are working on basic science issues, including strategies for automated analysis of neuroradiological interventions, optimization of angiographic techniques and imaging using flat detector CT, innovative imaging modalities (vascular endoscopy), as well as methods for aneurysm risk stratification and improvement in the prevention of neurovascular events. We conduct many of these projects in collaboration with our partners at the STIMULATE research campus.
